Test of English for International Communication

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) เป็นข้อสอบมาตรฐานระดับสากล ในการวัดทักษะภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับธุรกิจ โดยในปี 2008 มีมากกว่า 5 ล้านได้ทดสอบ TOEIC และจากกว่า 30 ปีที่ผ่านมา คะแนนสอบ TOEIC ได้ช่วยเหลือ องค์กร สถาบันการศึกษา และรัฐบาลทั่วโลก กว่าหลายพันแห่ง ในการรับสมัครและโปรโมทผู้สมัครที่มีคุณสมบัติมากที่สุด ซึ่งการสอบ TOEIC จัดทำขึ้นโดยEducational Testing Service (ETS)สำหรับในประเทศไทยนั้น มีหลายหน่วยงานและสถาบันต่างๆมากมายที่ต้องการผล TOEIC เช่น ธุรกิจการบิน การโรงแรม การท่องเที่ยว การขนส่ง สถาบันการเงิน ปิโตรเคมี ยานยนต์ โรงพยาบาล รวมทั้งบริษัทข้ามชาติอื่นๆ โดยนำไปใช้ในด้านต่างๆ เช่น สำหรับพิจารณาทักษะทางภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อรับสมัครเข้าทำงาน ปรับเงินเดือน เลื่อนตำแหน่ง คัดเลือกเพื่อไปอบรมสัมนาต่างประเทศ

ปัจจุบัน TOEIC มีการสอบสองรูปแบบคือ

1. TOEIC Listening and Reading Test (การฟังและการอ่าน) และ
2. TOEIC Speaking and Writing Tests (การพูดและการฟัง) ซึ่งเป็นรูปแบบใหม่

โดยในประเทศไทย มีการสอบเฉพาะแบบ TOEIC Listening and Reading Test (การฟังและการพูด) ซึ่งเป็นแบบทดสอบซึ่งสามารถวัดทักษะความสามารถในการนำภาษาอังกฤษมาใช้งานได้จริง ทั้งด้านการฟังและการอ่านคะแนนของ TOEIC ไม่มีคะแนนได้ คะแนนตก ซึ่งแต่ละคะแนนจะขึ้นอยู่กับความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาของผู้สอบ โดยคะแนน TOEIC เริ่มจาก 10 คะแนนถึง 990 คะแนน

Englican International เปิดติว TOEIC (Listening and Reading Test) โดยการันตีผลการสอบที่ 700+โดยภายในคอร์ส TOEIC แบ่งการสอนเป็น 2 ส่วนคือ การฟัง (Listening) และ การพูด (Reading) ซึ่งต้องใช้เวลาเรียนอย่างน้อย 50 ชั่วโมงขึ้นไป
รูปแบบของข้อสอบ TOEIC

การฟัง (Listening Comprehension) มี 100 ข้อ คะแนนเต็ม 495 คะแนน เวลา 45 นาที ผู้เข้าสอบจะได้ฟังคำถาม และการสนทนาสั้นๆ เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ แล้วตอบคำถามจากสิ่งที่ได้ยิน

โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 4 ส่วนย่อย ดังนี้

Part 1: Photographs 10 ข้อ
Part 2: Question-Response 30 ข้อ
Part 3: Conversations 30 ข้อ
Part 4: Short Talks 30 ข้อ

การอ่าน (Reading Comprehension) มี 100 ข้อ คะแนนเต็ม 495 คะแนน เวลา 75 นาที ผู้เข้าสอบจะต้องตอบคำถามจากสิ่งที่อ่าน

โดยแบ่งออกเป็น 3 ส่วนย่อย ดังนี้

Part 5: Incomplete Sentences 40 ข้อ
Part 6: Text Completion 12 ข้อ
Part 7: Reading Comprehension 48 ข้อ

โดย Englican International เปิดติว TOEIC เป็นแบบ Private Class โดยมี 2 แผนการเรียน

1. Toeic foundation class (Basic reading & grammar) 30 Hrs.
2. Toeic core class (ติวทำข้อสอบเลย) 30 Hrs.

TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is the standard test preferrably for English in business. As the previously popular choice of test takers in 2008, the number of test taking reached at least 5 million times. For tracked records of TOEIC in last 3 decades, it played an important role facilitating several hundred organizations, educational institutes, and the governments globally. TOEIC test centers are established more than thousand centers that the center itself functions for test promotion and registration.

TOEIC is arranged and authorized ny Educational Testing Service (ETS) and in Thailand, there are several units and institutes such as in avaiation, hospitality, tourism, transportantion, finance, petrol-chemical energy, automobile, hospitality, and other multi-national companies which require TOEIC score for their consideration of candidate’s potentials in English language skills in relations to recruitment, salary re-adjustment, promotion, or other election for international trainings.

Currently, TOEIC includes to main modules.

1. TOEIC Listening and Reading Test
2. TOEIC Speaking and Writing Test (New Module)

In Thailand, there is only TOEIC Listerning and Reading Test available that the result does not have passing or failing scores but it is based on individual test takers. The score is ranged from the lowest to the highest 10 to 990 points respectively.

Englican International opens TOEIC (Listening and Reading Test) tutoring course which guarantees all attended students to have the score at least 700. Our course consists of 2 main parts which are Listening and Reading requiring at least 50 hours to complete the course.

TOEIC exam structure consists of 2 main parts including listening and reading part.

Listening Comprehension consists of 100 questions in 45 mimutes for the total score of 495 points. Test takers are required to listen to questions and short conversation in English and then answer the questions which are classified into 4 sub-categories.

Part 1: Photographs 10 questions
Part 2 Question-Response 30 questions
Part 3 Conversation 30 questions
Part 4: Short Talks 30 Questions

Reading Comprehension consists of 100 questions in 75 minutes for the total score of 495 points. Test takers are required to answer the questions based on reading which are classified into 3 sub-categories.

Part 5: Incomplete Sentences 40 questions
Part 6: Text Completion 12 questions
Part 7: Reading Comprehension 48 questions

Our TOEIC course (Private Class) is classified into 2 main learning modules.

1. Toeic Foundation Class (Basic reading & grammar) for 30 hrs
2. Toeic Core Class (Advancing on Exam paper practice)
